2SPOT est une association loi 1901 reconnue d'intérêt général créée en 2019 par 5 astronomes amateurs afin d'installer un observatoire pilotable à distance au Chili.
Essentiellement dédié à la spectroscopie, 2SPOT a pour but de contribuer à divers programmes de collaboration pro/am. Le matériel a été installé au Chili courant Mai 2021.

Monitoring of the new discovered Nova V1723 Sco (PNV J17261813-133809354) | | 13 Février 2024 - Thomas Petit | | Following the discovery from Andrew Pearce (Australia) on February 2nd, the 2SPOT Team (Stéphane Charbonnel, Olivier Garde, Pascal Le Dû, Lionel Mulato and Thomas Petit) decided to observe this object and start a follow up with their eShel spectrograph (R=11000).
Here are the first results obtained starting February 11th...
